What is DOPE?
DOPE (Data On Previous Engagement) is your digital ballistics notebook. Build your digital DOPE card at the range as it captures everything that affects a bullet's flight — distance, windage, elevation, wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, slope angle, and your GPS position.
Weather data is pulled automatically from your location, and heading is captured via your phone's compass. Every entry becomes a permanent record you can filter, sort, and search. When you return to similar conditions, your historical data tells you exactly where to start.

Common questions
When you create a new DOPE entry, tap the weather button and the app uses your GPS location to pull current conditions from OpenWeatherMap — temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, and barometric pressure are filled in automatically. You can override any value manually if needed.
Yes. DOPE Pro includes advanced filtering with range sliders for distance, wind speed, slope angle, temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. This lets you find past entries recorded in conditions similar to what you’re facing today, so you know exactly where to start dialling.
Core logging and data review work without an internet connection. You can record entries, browse your history, and use the compass — your data syncs automatically when you reconnect. Weather auto-fetch requires connectivity to reach the weather service.
